Loch Fyne Oysters Ltd is based at Cairndow, at the head of Loch Fyne on the West Coast of Scotland.  From this stunning location we have been supplying our customers with the finest fish and seafood for over 40 years.  From our internationally renowned Oyster Bar Restaurant and through the products we sell globally, we pride ourselves on provenance, quality and sustainability.

We are in the envious position where we can enjoy all the great outdoors has to offer; beautiful beaches, views, walks, wildlife and outdoor sports, as well as not being far from Dunoon, Helensburgh, Dumbarton and Glasgow, to enjoy the benefits of a large town or city. 

Our team at Cairndow fulfil a wide variety of roles from our restaurant and retail teams, along with administration, sales and support functions.

Job Description: 

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated CHEF DE PARTIE to join our busy KITCHEN TEAM, in our award-winning Loch Fyne Bar Restaurant, assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen; preparing and cooking dishes from our menu. 

The successful applicant needs to have a strong background in a similar environment, working with fish and seafood. You must also be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen, plus have good communication skills and excellent food hygiene standards. HNC level qualifications or experience preferred.

Job Description: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and highly organised SOUS CHEF to assist with the day to day running of the KITCHEN TEAM, in our award-winning Loch Fyne Oyster Bar Restaurant, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service. 

Key responsibilities will be to assist the Head Chef with all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking and presentation; assisting with the supervision and training of the Kitchen Team, ensuring they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards; helping to oversee inventory management, including stock ordering and rotation, managing cost control measures to optimise profitability; plus deputising in the Head Chef's absence, including organising staff rotas to ensure efficient staffing levels.

The successful candidate will need to have strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team, be able to work in a fast paced kitchen whilst maintaining attention to detail, as well as having excellent food preparation skills, plus a knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices, together with strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

We are looking for customer focused people, with a friendly, outgoing nature to join our FRONT OF HOUSE RESTAURANT TEAM in our award-winning Loch Fyne Oyster Bar.

The successful candidates need to have excellent customer service and communication skills, have a cheerful and positive manner, be able to work well as part of a team, plus the ability to work in a busy restaurant environment. Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is preferred.

Duties include: taking customer orders, serving food and drink, clearing and resetting tables, cash handling and dealing with customers.

Job Description: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused person to join our DELICATESSEN TEAM.

The successful applicant needs to have a positive and friendly personality, excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to influence and advise customers on our products, plus be able to work well as part of a busy team. Previous experience in a retail or catering role would be beneficial.

Duties include: interacting with customers; providing information and suggestions on our products, cash handling, stock rotation and replenishment, food, beverage and product preparation for takeaway, promotional tastings, assisting with the deli displays, plus keeping the deli and associated areas clean and tidy.
