Loch Fyne Oysters Ltd is based at Cairndow, at the head of Loch Fyne on the West Coast of Scotland.

From this stunning location we have been producing and supplying high quality products worldwide for over 35 years.  Our internationally known products are processed from the freshest and highest quality fish and seafood obtained only from sustainable sources.

Our team at Cairndow fulfill a wide variety of roles from processing staff to restaurant and retail staff, along with administration and sales.  We employ over 125 people and have developed strong links with the local communities. There is flexibility within the work place to move between roles and departments.

CHEF DE PARTIE
Working with our Kitchen Team in our award winning Oyster Bar Restaurant

  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Salary: £19,000 per annum
  • Working Hours: Full time hours, with evening and weekend working required.
  • Other Info: Due to shifts, own transport is essential. Car share available from/to Glasgow, Helensbugh and Dumbarton.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated CHEF DE PARTIE to join our busy Kitchen Team, preparing and cooking dishes from our menu.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a similar environment working with fish and seafood, together with good pastry skills, be able to work well under pressure in an extremely fast paced kitchen, have excellent communication skills and exceptional food hygiene standards.

COMMIS CHEF

  • Rate of Pay: £7.65 per hour (increases to £7.96 per hour after successful completion of probation period)
  • Working Hours: Variable hours, with evening and weekend working required.
  • Other Info: Due to shifts, own transport is essential. Car share available from/to Glasgow, Helensburgh and Dumbarton.

Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic COMMIS CHEF to join our busy Kitchen Team, preparing and cooking dishes from our menu.

Experience in a similar environment working with fish and seafood would be preferred but is not essential, though a passion for food and development is.  You must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced kitchen, have good communication skills and excellent food hygiene standards.

WAITING STAFF

  • Contract Type: Temporary - Seasonal
  • Rate of Pay: £7.65 per hour (increases to £7.96 per hour after successful completion of probation period)
  • Working Hours: Variable hours, with evening and weekend working required.
  • Other Info: Due to shifts, own transport is essential. Car share available from/to Glasgow, Helensburgh and Dumbarton.

Job Description:
We are looking for customer focused people, with a friendly, outgoing nature to join our Front of House Restaurant Team.

The successful candidates need to have excellent customer service and communication skills, have a cheerful and positive manner, be able to work well as part of a team, plus the ability to work in a busy restaurant environment.  Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is preferred.

Duties include: taking customer orders, serving food/drink, clearing and resetting tables, cash handling and dealing with customers.
