Loch Fyne Restaurant opens in Sheffield
LOCH FYNE RESTAURANTS OPENS IN SHEFFIELD CITY CENTRE
Loch Fyne Restaurant opened in Sheffield on Monday 7th April.
Situated on Glossop Road in the old Hanrahan’s building, the restaurant is serving all you would expect from the UK’s best-known seafood restaurant and more. Favourite dishes include, lobster platters, world-famous Loch Fyne oysters, mussels and smoked salmon, wonderful organic cod, traditional fish pie and a delicious selection of salads.
The Sheffield restaurant has been tastefully interior designed to create a welcoming ambience with beautiful oak floors, wooden furniture and striking artwork depicting the company’s origins in Scotland. A central feature is an impressive cold counter display of fresh seafood – mouth-watering lobster, langoustine, mussels, white fish and oysters, many of which come direct from the shores of Loch Fyne. The produce is used in the menu dishes and is also for sale for customers and shoppers to cook at home.
Loch Fyne Restaurant seats 110 inside, with a further 50 on the outside terrace.
“It’s great that we are bringing Loch Fyne’s delicious and sustainable seafood to Sheffield. This is also an extra special opening as it is the first in 2008, coinciding with the tenth birthday of Loch Fyne Restaurants.” General Manager, Rachel Mayes.
