Job description:

Our Front of House Manager is looking for an experienced Supervisor, with a confident and positive manner to assist in the day to day running of the Oyster Bar restaurant. 

The ideal person needs to have excellent customer service and communication skills, demonstrate great team work with a hands-on approach and show the ability to motivate and lead.  You will also need to be able to work well under pressure, in an extremely busy environment.

This role involves a variety of duties including: allocating work, helping staff to fulfil their duties and assisting in the motivation, development and training of the Front of House team.  The role also involves dealing with customers, taking orders, serving food and drink and cash handling.  Previous experience in a catering/hospitality environment preferred.

♦  Starting rate: £7.65 per hour (exclusive of any tips earned).

♦  Hours will be variable, with evening and weekend working required.

♦  Due to the nature of the shifts, own transport is beneficial.

♦  Temporary position for 8 months to provide maternity cover. 

♦  Benefits include: 30 days Holiday pro-rated per annum.
